a bit about me
I love solo traveling. I've mastered the 3-second timer, asking strangers to take my photo, and the art of a good selfie.
In the summer, I'm usually in Central Park playing frisbee with my friends.
Long hikes? My friends convinced me to walk the Camino de Santiago in 2024—all 180 miles. Pro tip… drink enough water.
I've always been drawn to storytelling, whether through a figure skating routine, playing violin, or making short music videos with my friends in middle school. I grew up wanting to create.
I love looking for the small details and quiet moments people often overlook. That instinct, to observe, capture, and move on is what I love most about Super 8. With Super 8, everything is gut feeling. You don't get multiple angles or do-overs. You trust the shots you chose to get, and that's it.
WHY FILM?
I fell in love with film in high school, spending hours in my local darkroom. It became a place of safety and belonging—and it's still my truest love in this work. Film requires intention. Every frame matters. In a world that prioritizes manufactured moments, film stays honest. It's the medium of my childhood, the one I reach for when I need to remember what something actually felt like.
I was a film photographer long before I was a wedding videographer, and that foundation shapes everything I do. I grew up in Lake Placid, where quiet observation felt natural. Later, California and New York City taught me how to see light, movement, and people differently. My dad gave me my first camera and encouraged me to experiment. That early curiosity still guides how I work.
On your wedding day, I'm carrying 3-5 cameras and switching between digital, 35mm, 120, Polaroid, and Super 8 based on the light, the mood, and the moment. The result is a true mixed media collection: honest, textured, and built to hold the weight your memories deserve.
When I document weddings, I'm less interested in perfection and more interested in memory—how a moment felt, how it moved, and how it might be remembered years from now.
a few things i love
Why does this matter? Because you'll spend more time with me on your wedding day than anyone else: yes, even your partner. So it's important that you actually like me. That you feel comfortable. That you can be yourselves with a camera in the room. Let's make sure we're a good fit.
FAQ
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?
I'm currently booking summer 2025 weddings and have availability for select dates. I only take a limited number of weddings per year to ensure each couple gets my full attention and the highest quality film.
For elopements and courthouse weddings, I can often accommodate shorter timelines—even 4-6 weeks out.
If your date is coming up soon, reach out anyway. The earlier you book, the more time we have to plan.
WHAT IF IT RAINS / BAD WEATHER?
I'm prepared for anything. Rain, snow, wind—I've got the gear and the mindset to work in all conditions. Some of the most beautiful film moments happen in unexpected weather. Plus, if your day involves adventure (hiking, mountains, etc.), I'm built for it.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET OUR FILM?
Your Super 8 wedding film will be delivered within 6-8 weeks of your wedding day.
Here's why: after your wedding, the physical film is sent to a specialized lab for chemical development (1-2 weeks), then digitized and meticulously edited with professional color grading. Unlike digital video, Super 8 is a craft process that can't be rushed—but the result is a timeless film treated with the care it deserves.
You'll receive timeline updates throughout the process so you always know where your film stands.
ARE YOU OFFERING ANY SPECIAL RATES?
Yes! I'm offering a founding rate ($2,800 instead of $4,000+) for my first 3 summer 2025 couples. This is a limited opportunity to work together at a reduced rate. Once these spots are filled, standard pricing applies.
DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?
Yes! I'm based in NYC and coverage is included within 75 miles (greater NYC area including Westchester, Long Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Hudson Valley).
For destinations beyond 75 miles, travel fees apply based on distance and logistics. Reach out with your location and I'll provide a custom quote
